TERMS OF
SERVICE Before we
start your work We would advise you to
backup any important documents that you may have on your PC and any
other external device that requires attention. If required, PCtoWEB can
backup the data for you but this would need to be discussed prior to our
visit and may incur an additional charge. Services Based on the fees specified on the website (http://www.pctoweb.co.uk), PCtoWEB will carry out the repairs or upgrade agreed, and will aim to complete the work in the least time possible. If required we should be able to give you an estimated time for the repair when you call, but cannot guarantee this. If we come across any other issues that need to be addressed and they are not connected to the problem we have attended, we will inform you. Callout will be carried out at a convenient time to you, within reason. Liability Under no circumstances shall PCtoWEB be liable to you or any other person for any damages, including without limitation, any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, expenses costs, profits, lost savings or earnings, lost or corrupted data, or other liability arising out of, or related to, the services provided by PCtoWEB or out of the installation, use of, or inability to use your computer equipment, hardware, peripherals, or the network resulting from the services provided here under. On-site
service We provide a service whereby we attend your home or business address to carry out the repair or upgrade. The area that we are to be working in should be safe and there should be reasonable access to the equipment. PCtoWEB will take every precaution, but problems can occur, so it is imperative that you backup any important files from your hardware before any work is carried out as PCtoWEB cannot be held responsible for loss of your data. For PCtoWEB to carry out the work as agreed, they
will need full access to any hardware or software on said machines to
complete the work satisfactorily. If there is no access to the machine,
the environment is unsafe to work in or no access to the property (business
or domestic) is granted, then we cannot carry out the work specified,
but a callout charge will still apply. Guarantees,
cancellations and changes We will guarantee our work for 30 days, and in the unlikely event, within this period, you experience problems with the work carried out we will resolve the problem swiftly and at no additional cost to you, providing the problem is related to the original work carried out. Should the equipment be tampered with by either you or a third party, our work may have been compromised and therefore our guarantee is void. Prices can change at any time, so it is wise to visit the website to check our latest prices. If you arrange a visit by PCtoWEB, this indicates that you, the owner of the equipment, have read and understand these terms in full. PCtoWEB cannot be held responsible for any loss, damages that you experience, including but not limited to data loss or faulty components that were not part of the repair or upgrade. The equipment will be fully tested once the machine has been repaired or upgraded. Whilst we carry out our initial tests of the equipment, should we find any faults that were not indicated in the initial contact, we will make you aware before we carry out any of the contracted work. |
